[Rules of Conduct at Ski Resorts]
- Because skiing and snowboarding present unique dangers, especially in high-speed activities, everyone has a duty to exercise caution when skiing and snowboarding, avoiding accidents themselves and taking responsibility for the safety of others.
- Do not endanger the bodies or belongings of others while on the ski slopes.
- Always look ahead and control your speed according to your physical condition, skill, terrain, weather, snow quality, and the number of people around you. Always choose a skiing method that avoids people and objects.
- If you are behind or above other skiers, always choose a direction that will not hinder or endanger the progress of the skier in front.
- When passing others, leave sufficient space to ensure that any actions taken by the person you are passing are not dangerous.
- When entering the slopes, crossing the slopes, and starting to ski, always look up and down to ensure that you and others are not in danger.
- Do not stop or sit on the slopes. Narrow areas or areas with obscured visibility from above are particularly dangerous. If you fall, you must leave the slope as soon as possible.
- When ascending, walking, or stopping, always stay close to the side of the slope. Additionally, if your vision is blurred, be aware of people skiing above you.
- Always fasten your ski or snowboard safety harness.
- Always pay attention to signs, notices, and announcements, and follow the instructions of patrol officers and staff to avoid accidents.
- In the event of an accident, both the person involved and the witness have a responsibility to assist with rescue efforts and report the incident, and are obligated to provide their personal information.
