Take a sightseeing boat to the Naruto Strait to see the unique whirlpools and enjoy the unique natural landscape. The Naruto Strait whirlpools are formed by the difference in tides between the Pacific Ocean and the Seto Inland Sea. During high tide, they are located on the Awaji Island side, while during low tide, they are located on the Naruto side.

It is also one of the three largest tidal currents in the world, with a maximum diameter of 30 meters, making it the largest whirlpool in the world.

Awaji Island is famous for its daffodils. Kuroiwanada Narcissus Village is one of the three largest wild daffodil habitats in Japan.

Five million wild daffodils bloom along the steep slopes of Mt. Satsuruga in southern Awaji Island, stretching out into the sea. The contrast between the lemon-yellow daffodils and the azure ocean is breathtaking. The blooming season lasts from mid-December to mid-February.

Travel Notes

- The order of the itinerary may be changed due to road conditions.
- This tour departs with Japanese guests.
- If a guest leaves the tour midway due to personal reasons, the tour will be deemed to have waived their rights and no refund will be given.
- If the whirlpool boat is canceled due to bad weather, the group boat ticket fee (1,000 yen for adults and 800 yen for children) will be refunded and the duration of the visit to other attractions will be adjusted.
- Whirlpools are a natural phenomenon and are subject to the weather on the day. Viewing is not guaranteed, but no refund will be given.
- The flower viewing period may be slightly delayed due to weather conditions. Once the tour is completed, the tour will depart as scheduled regardless of the blooming conditions.
- Lunch will be at approximately 11:30 AM.
- In the event of adverse weather conditions such as typhoons or snowstorms, cancellation of the tour will be determined by 3:00 PM Japan time the day before departure and will be notified by email at any time.
- The meeting and disbanding locations may vary. Please confirm with the tour leader on the day.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellation Policy for Local Day Tours in Japan

Cancellations made 12 days or more before the selected itinerary date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 8 and 11 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 1 and 2 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 0 and 10 days before the start of the itinerary will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
