From spring cherry blossoms to autumn maples and winter snow, each season offers its own unique beauty. After the train ride, take a boat cruise on the Hozu River. The clear waters ripple as the boat moves, allowing you to see the ripples created by the waves. Along the river, you'll enjoy a completely different view of Arashiyama than from the train. The Sagano Sightseeing Train departs from Sagano Station and travels to Kameoka Station, gently traversing the scenic Hozu River valley. The one-way journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Enjoy cherry blossoms in spring, vibrant greenery in summer, maple leaves in autumn, and a glittering winter wonderland. Aboard the train, you'll be able to experience the unique beauty of each season. Inside Saga Station, there's a diorama of Kyoto Japan, showcasing model trains, and a bicycle rental shop, offering convenient bicycle rentals for exploring the Sagano and Arashiyama areas.

Travel Notes

- Children under 3 years old ride free, but do not have seats. Please hold your child on the bus.
- The tour price includes the train and Hozugawa River cruise tickets.
- Children under 80 cm in height are not permitted. Please note: children under 80 cm are not permitted.
- Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. Latecomers will not be accepted.
- Please be sure to arrive late. Latecomers will be deemed to have forfeited the tour and will not be able to transfer to another bus or join the tour midway. Please understand that no refund will be given.
- Lunch is not included in this tour. Please provide it at your own expense while visiting the Arashiyama area.
- The tour will be transported by large buses, which offer free storage for large and small luggage. Please remember to collect your luggage upon disembarking.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellation Policy for Local Day Tours in Japan

Cancellations made 12 days or more before the selected itinerary date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 8 and 11 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 1 and 2 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 0 and 10 days before the start of the itinerary will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
