– About the Attractions | Five-Day Hokkaido Tour Package –

▲ Asahikawa Ramen Village
Attracting tens of thousands of visitors annually, each of the historic Ramen Village shops, each dedicated to its legacy, maintains a traditional, understated exterior, focusing on captivating flavors. The diverse ramen schools compete for patronage, ensuring a feast for the discerning diners who visit each shop, bowl after bowl.

▲ Otokoyama Brewery

Otokoyama sake uses the spring water of the Daisetsuzan Mountains, combined with a cold climate ideal for sake brewing, and utilizes ancient sake-making techniques to produce its award-winning, gold-winning sake. Its history dates back to the 17th century, and its rich history of sake brewing carries a profound brewing culture. It has garnered numerous acclaim and awards both domestically and internationally. Samples of high-quality Otokoyama sake are also available at the museum.

▲ Ginga Meteor Falls

Meteor Falls cascades down from a height of 90 meters, leaving a trail like a shooting star in the night sky. Its abundant flow is majestic, while Ginga Falls, draped like silk against the mountainside, flows gently and gently, creating a gentle and graceful experience. The former is likened to a male, known as the Otoko Falls, while the latter, like a female, is known as the Jyoto Falls. Together, Ginga and Meteor Falls are known as the Couple Falls, coexisting in the Sounkyo Onsen area and are among Japan's top 100 waterfalls.

▲Otaru Canal

Red brick warehouses line the canal, testament to Otaru's former prosperity, rivaling New York's Wall Street. With the passage of time, the transport system has become a historically valuable tourist attraction. The warehouses and banks that once lined the canal are now revitalized as restaurants, shops, and museums, offering visitors a romantic experience. Along the canal, relief prints and monuments depicting Otaru's history are erected, and street performers are a common sight, unexpectedly immersing you in Otaru's unique old-town charm. At night, the 63 kerosene lamps illuminate the warehouses, creating a retro romance that is captivating.

▲Goryokaku Park

Japan's first Western-style castle, it takes on the shape of a five-pointed star from an aerial view, hence the name Goryokaku. Completed in the late Edo period under the direction of the deputy captain of the French warship Constantine, the tower was designed with gun emplacements at various corners, eliminating blind spots for artillery fire and maximizing the power of modern cannons. It was later designated a Special Historic Site and a Hokkaido Heritage Site by the Japanese government. In 1914, it opened to the public as a recreational park for Hakodate residents, offering breathtaking scenery in every season.

▲Hakodateyama Night View

The Michelin Green Guide Japan has awarded the park its highest honor, three stars, stating that its night view is "worth a special trip to explore." Its popularity is further evidenced by its constant flow of tourists from around the world year-round. The dazzling night view changes with each season. In autumn, the clear skies and air offer a breathtaking view. In winter, streetlights and colorful neon lights reflect off the pristine snow, adding a vibrant glow to the nightscape. In the foggy summer, the scenery is like a veil, a hazy, shrouded scene. Mount Hakodate offers not only nighttime views, but daytime hikes offer even greater expansive vistas and a truly rewarding experience.

▲Hakodate Morning Market
Hakodate Port's traditional market houses over 400 seafood shops, creating a unique and large-scale market. Freshly unloaded cuttlefish, crab, and croaker are among the seafood on sale. Not only can you gain a deeper understanding of northern Japan's products and experience the local trade atmosphere, you'll also have the opportunity to sample seasonal produce, such as delicious salmon roe and sea urchin, at your own expense.
