– About the Attractions | Five-Day Hokkaido Package –

▲ Otokoyama Brewery

Otokoyama sake uses the spring water of the Daisetsuzan Mountains, a cold climate ideal for sake brewing, and utilizes ancient brewing techniques to produce its award-winning sake. Dating back to the 17th century, its rich history and rich brewing culture have earned it numerous accolades and awards both domestically and internationally. Samples of high-quality Otokoyama sake are also available at the museum.

▲Sounkyo Onsen

A renowned hot spring resort in Hokkaido since the Edo period, its rock walls, still standing strong despite its long history, are a favorite destination for both domestic and international tourists, offering stunning views of lush greenery in spring and summer, crimson maple leaves in autumn, and snowy winters. The beauty of the rock walls can also be admired from the large public baths, offering a relaxing atmosphere immersive in nature.

▲Otaru Canal

The red brick warehouses lining its banks bear witness to Otaru's former prosperity, rivaling New York's Wall Street. With the passage of time, the transport system has become a historically valuable tourist attraction. The warehouses and banks that once lined its banks have been restored to their former glory as restaurants, shops, and museums, offering visitors a romantic experience. Along the canal, relief prints and monuments depicting Otaru's history are erected, along with street performers. You can also encounter street performers, unexpectedly immersing yourself in Otaru's unique old-town atmosphere. At dusk, 63 kerosene lamps light up, creating a retro romance alongside the illuminated warehouses, creating an enchanting atmosphere.

▲ Noboribetsu Hell Valley
The source of Noboribetsu Onsen, Japan's famous hot springs, is a few minutes' walk from Noboribetsu Onsen Town. Approximately 10,000 years ago, the eruption of Mount Hiyori left behind the crater that today forms the Noboribetsu Onsen Hell Valley, 450 meters in diameter and covering approximately 11 hectares. Hot springs gushing from this crater are transported to the local hot spring inns. The area, rife with crimson rocks and yellow-gray hills, is filled with fissures where hot springs, steam, volcanic gas, and the strong odor of sulfur permeate the air, giving rise to the name "Hell Valley." The area boasts 15 different types of hell, including Showa Hell, Ryuumaki Hell, Lead Hell, and Teppō Hell. It has been designated one of "One of the 100 Most Fragrant Sceneries" and a "Hokkaido Heritage Site."

▲Hakodate Night View

Receiving three stars, the highest honor, from the Michelin Green Guide Japan, Hakodate's nightscape is "worth a special trip to explore." Its popularity is evident year-round, attracting visitors from around the world. The dazzling nightscape changes with each season. Autumn's clear skies and air offer a breathtaking view; winter's streetlights and vibrant neon lights reflect off the pristine snow, adding a vibrant hue to the nightscape; and summer's foggy weather creates a hazy, veil-like scene. Mount Hakodate offers more than just nighttime views; daytime hikes offer even greater expansive vistas and a truly rewarding experience.

▲Shiroi Koibito Park

In addition to the factory that produces Hokkaido's famous "Shiroi Koibito" biscuits, visitors can also enjoy a cafe featuring ISHIYA's exclusive sweets at their own expense, as well as a workshop where they can make their own Shiroi Koibito cookies. There's also a toy collection and a rose garden. This is a dreamlike space themed around "a story of delicious, fun, and nostalgic sweets." Appreciate, savor, and experience, and your beautiful memories will emerge in a world of sweetness.
