Winter has passed, spring has arrived, and it's cherry blossom season in Japan again. For 2020, Quba is launching a super romantic two-day cherry blossom viewing tour in Japan. Departing from Shinjuku, this two-day itinerary covers up to five cherry blossom viewing spots. Don't worry about the bad blooms, or miss out on the sight of cherry blossoms. We've also invested in a boat tour of Suruga Bay, with views of Mount Fuji, Japan's sacred site, and stays at a hot spring resort hotel on the shores of Lake Hamana. This is how cherry blossom viewing in Japan should be enjoyed.

– About the Attraction | Two-Day Cherry Blossom Viewing Tour on the Oigawa Railway –

▲ Mishima Taisha Shrine

The main hall of Mishima Taisha Shrine is designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan. It enshrines Minamoto no Yoritomo, the first shogun of the Kamakura shogunate. Mishima Taisha Shrine is rich in natural resources, and in spring, the diverse cherry blossom varieties burst into bloom, creating a breathtaking spectacle that is truly worth a visit.

▲Suruga Bay
The Suruga Bay Sightseeing Cruise, ranked as Japan's sixth-best water sightseeing cruise, offers a unique perspective of Mount Fuji, Japan's tallest mountain, and Suruga Bay, Japan's deepest. Feeling the gentle sea breeze from the deck, the azure sea and the majestic mountains shimmer before your eyes—a unique experience only available aboard a Suruga Bay Sightseeing Cruise.

▲Nihondaira Yume Terrace
The summit of Mt. Yudo, located in the Suruga Bay area of Shizuoka Prefecture, is known as Nihondaira. Its unique location offers superb views of the Izu Peninsula and Japan's sacred mountain, Mount Fuji. Designed by architect Kengo Kuma's team at the end of 2018, Nihondaira Yume Terrace boasts a three-story wooden observatory, offering unobstructed views of Mount Fuji from the third floor.

▲Ota River Cherry Blossom Bank

Ota River Cherry Blossom Bank is the embankment of the Ota River. Thirty years ago, locals planted over 1,000 cherry trees along this 2-kilometer-long embankment. Every spring, crowds of tourists flock here to admire the tunnel of cherry blossoms.

▲Okawai Railway

Audiences of Japanese railway culture are undoubtedly familiar with the Okawai Railway in western Shizuoka. Its retro "SL Traditional Steam Locomotive" is a familiar sight. During cherry blossom season, a ride on this nostalgic steam locomotive offers picturesque scenery, transporting you back in time to a more peaceful age.

▲Oku-Oikokami Station

Oku-Oikokami Station on the Okawai Railway boasts a unique floating island station. Voted the most incredible station on a Japanese television program and one of Japan's top 100 stations, it's Japan's only floating island station, a renowned spot for autumn and cherry blossom viewing in central Japan, and the last remaining ABT-style railway. All of this is nestled within the breathtaking Oku-Oikokami Station!
