The snow-white sand dunes stretch for nearly 80 kilometers, stretching so vast they feel like a boundless desert. Formed from weathered coral and shells, the dunes offer the thrill of sandboarding down the 45-degree dunes, all made entirely of coral sand. Meanwhile, Shell Beach, near Shark Bay, is entirely made of fingernail-sized shells. Because of its remote location, this stretch of coastline remains relatively pristine, unlike the sand dunes that have weathered into fine sand.

The Lobster Factory is run by the Thompson family. David Thompson and his three sons have been catching lobsters here since 1966.
