Mingchi, a high mountain lake at an altitude of 1,150 meters, boasts a cool and pleasant climate, making it a renowned summer resort in northern Taiwan. Not only is it home to a rich flora and fauna, but it also boasts Fuchun Garden, a landscape designed to reflect the natural landscape; Jingshi Garden, a place for meditation; Cixiao Pavilion, built by the late President Chiang Ching-kuo in memory of his mother; the Sun Yat-sen Centennial Memorial Forest, named in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Sun Yat-sen's death; the Fern Garden, featuring a forest classroom; the Forest Fairytale Trail, a matrix of planted trees; and the Mingchi Nursery, filled with seasonal flowers, all adding to the fun of your visit!

Jiuliao Creek Natural Ecological Education Park

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Datong Township Office and the Lunpi Community Development Association to protect and preserve the ecological stream, it remains completely unpolluted and has become a beloved destination for many Taiwanese. The Jiuliao Creek Trail, a 1.8-kilometer-long trail (approximately 2.2 kilometers from the park to the trail entrance), is nestled within a typical subtropical forest. Along the trail are four suspension bridges: the Huoyun Bridge, symbolizing the Eye of the Ancestral Spirits; the cable-stayed Baga Suspension Bridge; and the Haai Suspension Bridge, which lacks archways or piers. The arched bridge at the end, Linpu Bridge, offers a breathtaking view of the majestic, approximately 50-meter-high Geba Waterfall.
