▲ Jozankei Onsen

Located near Sapporo, Jozankei Onsen is one of Hokkaido's most representative hot spring resorts. The hot spring town stretches along the Toyohira River, offering different natural scenery in each season: cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, vibrant autumn foliage, and snowscapes in winter. Visitors can choose to relax at the "Yunohana Jozankei-den" hot springs, or stroll around the "Seicomart Jozankei Onsen" area and enjoy a complimentary foot bath, soaking in the leisurely atmosphere of the hot spring town.

▲ Great Buddha Hall (Makomanai Takino Cemetery) Designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, this hall is famous for its colossal Buddha statue combined with a concrete dome and a sea of lavender. The Buddha's body is surrounded by a ring of earthen mounds, with only the head visible, symbolizing the spirit of "contemplation" and "coexistence with nature." In summer, when the lavender blooms, the purple sea of flowers surrounds the Buddha's head, creating a spectacular and dreamlike scene; in winter, it is covered in snow, showcasing a solemn and pure beauty, making it a must-visit landmark for photography and architecture enthusiasts.

▲ Sapporo Outer Market One of Sapporo's largest fresh food markets, it gathers a variety of seafood, fruits, vegetables, and local ingredients. Here, you can freely purchase Hokkaido specialties such as crab, sea urchin, and scallops, and enjoy sushi and seafood bowls at popular restaurants. The market is vibrant and welcoming, making it an excellent place to experience Hokkaido's food culture.

▲ Hokkaido Shrine Founded in the Meiji era, this is one of the most representative shrines in Hokkaido, enshrining the Three Gods of Pioneer and Emperor Meiji. The shrine grounds are lush with trees and have a solemn atmosphere, attracting many visitors to worship and admire the cherry blossoms in spring. It's not only a sacred place for praying for peace and good fortune, but also a top choice for Sapporo residents to welcome the New Year.

▲ Shiroi Koibito Park A tourist factory and theme park established by the famous Hokkaido confectionery brand "Shiroi Koibito". The park blends British-style architecture with a dreamy garden atmosphere. Visitors can freely observe the confectionery making process, try DIY cookies, or purchase limited-edition souvenirs at the gift shop. The on-site café offers desserts and drinks, making it a great place to relax in the afternoon.

▲ Sapporo Beer Museum Known for its red-brick architecture and historical atmosphere, it is Japan's only museum dedicated to the history of beer. The museum showcases the development of Sapporo beer from its pioneering days to the present day, and visitors can sample fresh draft beer at the attached "Beer Garden." History buffs and beer lovers shouldn't miss this golden-foam experience.
