▲Gamcheon-dong Culture Village
A must-see on any Busan trip is Gamcheon-dong Culture Village, known as the "Machu Picchu of Korea." Its history dates back to the Korean War in the 1950s. Due to the conflict, people gradually moved to higher ground, building over 800 houses on the hillside. In 2009, with the "Dream Busan Machu Picchu" campaign, artists and residents worked together to create a brand new Gamcheon-dong Culture Village. The popular Korean show Running Man also filmed a Busan special there.

▲56 Islands Skywalk
Located at the junction of South Korea's East Sea and South Sea, the "56 Islands Skywalk" is named after the idea of "walking in the sky." Perched atop a 35-meter-high cliff, the 15-meter glass walkway is constructed from 24 glass panels and iron supports. Through the clear glass below, you can see the waves crashing against the cliffs, creating a breathtaking experience. The 56 Islands Skywalk is also a popular photography spot. Standing here, you can gaze upon the ocean, its ever-present beauty. On clear days, you can even see Japan's Tsushima Island.

▲Jagalchi Seafood Market
From the dried fish market under Yeongdo Bridge to the Chungmudong morning market area, this is South Korea's largest seafood market. Established as a live fish market after the Korean War, Jagalchi is a large seafood market that combines the New Dong-A Market with a dried fish market. The fishmongers are primarily women, known as "Jagalchi sisters-in-law."

▲Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
Founded in 1376 by King Gongmin of Goryeo, the monk Laonong, originally known as Bomunsa Temple, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is one of Korea's three most sacred sites dedicated to Avalokitesvara. Its combination of the sea, dragons, and the Great Buddha of Avalokitesvara gives it a deeper religious significance than any other temple. Legend has it that if one prays sincerely at Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, the Bodhisattva will appear in a dream and grant a wish.

▲Haeundae Beach
Haeundae Beach is Busan's representative beach, boasting a vast 58,400-square-meter beach and a beautiful coastline, along with shallow waters and calm waves, perfect for swimming. Haeundae Beach is a popular destination that comes to mind whenever you think of "Busan travel." The coastline is lined with buildings of all sizes and luxury hotels, and the beach is renowned for its modern and stylish atmosphere, attracting a constant stream of international tourists.

▲Nampodong BIFF Plaza
Following the Busan International Film Festival, which began in 1996, the theater street area was officially named "Nampodong BIFF Plaza." To expand the foundation of Korean film culture, create new cultural and tourist attractions, solidify the city's status as an international cultural and tourist destination, and enhance the city's sense of pride, the Busan International Film Festival's eve celebrations, including handprints by renowned filmmakers and a snowflake lighting event, are held annually at Nampodong BIFF Plaza.

▲Yeongdo Bridge
Connecting Nampodong and Yeongdo, the Yeongdo Bridge was built during the Japanese colonial era to facilitate public transportation and was Busan's first cross-sea bridge. Designed as a single-arm movable bridge to accommodate ships traveling between South Harbor and North Harbor, one end of the bridge rises whenever a medium or large vessel passes. Historically, it opens and closes at least twice a day and up to seven times. The novel appearance of the opened bridge standing in the air attracted many people to come and watch, and also made Yeongdo Bridge gradually become one of the representative landmarks of Busan free travel.
