Located in Guangfu, Hualien, the Danong Dafu Flatland Forest Park is Taiwan's first flatland forest park. Formed by the merger of Danong Farm and Dafu Farm, the park is surrounded by the Central and Coastal Mountain Ranges, offering expansive views. The park boasts a rich natural ecology, offering a variety of stunning landscapes throughout the year. The vast park features North and South Loop bike paths, allowing travelers to soak up the phytoncides while cycling. With luck, you might even spot ring-necked pheasants foraging. Cycling in the Danong Dafu Plains Forest Park is a true pleasure! There are three bike routes. The first, surrounding the service center, features colorful flower beds, large lawns, and open terrain, along with unique art installations, making it perfect for families. The second, the North Loop bike path, is the perfect spot for admiring trees and listening to birds. Watching the changing colors of the leaves along the way is truly romantic. The third, the South Loop bike path, offers breathtaking views of the dreamlike maple forest and excellent views.

While walking in the plains forest, if you spot giant ants on the grass, you know you're not far from the "ant nest"! Inspired by an anthill, the light earthy yellow exterior, with its deliberately dusty texture and oval shape, creates a delightful atmosphere! They offer hand-poured coffee, simple snacks, handmade products, and DIY seed creations. If you're tired walking around or passing by the anthill on your bike, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, chat with the owner about ecology, or go digging for treasures.
