Jeonju, South Korea: Hanok Village and Gyeonggijeon Day Tour (Chinese Service/Hotel Pickup in Seoul)

Gyeonggijeon Hall was built in 1410 primarily to house the portrait of Yi Taejo, the founding emperor of the Joseon Dynasty. It also houses portraits of other Joseon emperors. Gyeonggijeon Hall also boasts a 400-year-old ginkgo tree, creating a stunning autumn scene of golden leaves covering the ground.

Jeonju Hanok Village
Compared to Bukchon and Namsan Hanok Village in Seoul, Jeonju Hanok Village is larger, more numerous, and better preserved. Jeonju, known as Wansan during the Baekje era, is an ancient capital boasting 1,250 years of history. [Seunggwangjae Alley]
Located in the Jeonju Hanok Village, this small alley is where Yi Seok, the 11th prince of King Uiwang and the 26th son of Emperor Gojong of the Joseon Dynasty, lived. It is now run as a guesthouse, offering a taste of Hanok living.

[Jeonju History Library]
Located within Gyeonggijeon, the Jeonju History Library was built during the Goryeo and Joseon eras to preserve important national documents. Inside, you can find ancient books that embody Korean history and culture.
