[Pandemic Response] Vaccinated travelers please bring your yellow card. Unvaccinated travelers must provide proof of a negative self-test (including home testing) within the past week before participating. Please wear a mask and cooperate with temperature checks and disinfection throughout the trip.
- For the Hualien Shitiping Canoe and Snorkeling Experience, children aged 10 and above and under 70 are recommended to register and must travel with an adult.
- The meeting point for the Hualien Shitiping Canoe and Snorkeling Experience may be changed to the Harbor Elementary School Auditorium due to weather conditions. This will be announced the day before departure. The starting and ending points will be the same.
- The Hualien Shitiping Canoe and Snorkeling Experience is subject to seasonal changes, and the best time to experience it is generally between May and October.
- For the Hualien Shitiping Canoe and Snorkeling Experience, it is recommended to wear sweat-wicking, quick-drying clothing. Avoid jeans, cotton, or other absorbent materials.
- Please do not wear flip-flops or go barefoot, as there are hard surfaces and rocks on the shore. To avoid cuts, wear sandals or waterproof shoes. Non-slip shoes are provided for the Hualien Shitiping Kayak Snorkeling Experience, but those who are concerned about sharing shoes are advised to bring their own.
- The activity includes snorkeling gear (mask and snorkel). If you bring your own, you can get a $200 discount (this discount will no longer apply starting in July).
- You may bring your own waterproof bag for personal belongings, snacks, and water. It is not recommended to bring cell phones or non-waterproof consumer electronics into the water.
- If you have myopia, it is recommended that you use a protective eyeglass strap or wear contact lenses.
- As the Hualien Shitiping Kayak Snorkeling Experience takes place in the open sea, those who are prone to seasickness should bring their own seasickness medication.
- As the Hualien Shitiping Kayak Snorkeling Experience is a water activity, splashing clothes is common. Changing areas are provided on site. Please bring your own plastic bag for wet clothes and a change of clothes after the activity.
Safety is paramount in outdoor activities. Instructors may adjust the activity schedule based on weather conditions and student conditions. Students must cooperate with the instructor's instructions.
- If the Hualien Shitiping Kayak and Snorkeling Experience is postponed or canceled due to weather conditions, we will notify you separately. Rescheduling or refunding is available.
- Pregnant women and those with physical discomfort are advised not to register for the Hualien Shitiping Kayak and Snorkeling Experience. If you are found to be ineligible on-site, you will not be able to participate.
- Please meet on time for the Hualien Shitiping Kayak and Snorkeling Experience. No refunds will be given if you are separated from the group or cannot meet up due to personal reasons.
- Regarding the Hualien Shitiping Kayak and Snorkeling Experience: If the group cannot be formed due to insufficient number of participants, you will be notified before departure to reschedule or receive a full refund.
- Pre-departure information and contact information for the Hualien Shitiping Kayak and Snorkeling Experience will be provided three days prior to departure. Please check your member inbox.

The cost does not include:
- Any expenses not specified in this itinerary, any self-funded expenses or any expenses incurred in connection with the itinerary.
Cancellation Clauses
Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 4-6 days (including the 6th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.
Cancellations made 1-3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.
Cancellations made on the day of the trip will not receive a refund.
If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.
Rescheduling requests due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.
If participation in the event is terminated due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
