2024 2-Day Mount Fuji Climbing Tour | Perfect for Beginners with a Professional Japanese Mountain Guide (Departing from Shinjuku)

▲ Accommodation in the mountain cabin is mixed-gender bunk beds. Accommodation options may include Hakuunso, Ganso-ku, Fujisan Hotel, or Edoya.

▲ The age limit for climbing Mount Fuji is 6 years old and under 75 years old. However, those aged 70-75 will need to complete a consent form.
▲ If you are traveling with a parent and wish to register a child under 12, please contact customer service.

▲ Due to limited availability, accommodations outside of the mountain lodge may be arranged.
▲ The mountain guide will accompany you from the 5th Station onwards.

▲ Japanese personnel will assist with check-in at Shinjuku and 5th Station. If the 5th Station staff are unable to arrive at the drop-off point due to busy schedules, please follow the crowd to the 5th Station equipment rental shop Fujisan Miharashi to check in. A guide will be assigned based on the form.

▲ The tour will depart as usual even if it rains, but the guide may decide to cancel the tour due to weather conditions. (Please note that this fee is non-refundable.)

▲ Please arrive at the designated meeting point 20 minutes early on the day. Late arrivals or personal reasons will result in your forfeiture.
▲ Please bring your electronic voucher to the meeting point on the day. The staff will check the list and confirm your name.
▲ The duration of each tour and arrival time are subject to change and adjustment based on the weather and traffic conditions.
▲ The second-day Kenshin circumambulation is subject to the guide's discretion. If you plan to participate, you must pay the fee on-site. (1,100 yen per person, for groups of 10 or more, payable to the guide on-site.)

▲ Mount Fuji's fifth station is approximately 2,300 meters above sea level. The mountain hut at the eighth station is located at an altitude of over 3,000 meters. The summit is approximately 3,500 meters above sea level. The temperature at the summit is typically below 5°C, but the temperature difference from the fifth station can exceed 15°C. Please ensure you are well-protected and confirm your necessary items and equipment list in advance to avoid any omissions.

Hot Spring Information:
▲ You can bathe at either Fujisan Lava Hot Spring or Yamanakako Onsen's Red Fuji-no-Yu. You cannot choose a specific bathing location; please use your ticket.

About Luggage Storage:
▲ Coin lockers are available at a local business near the 5th Station. Fees range from 400 yen to 500 yen depending on the size of your luggage.
▲ If the lockers are full or insufficient, you can ask a local business to store your luggage. Fees vary depending on the location.

— Regarding Early Departures:
▲ If you plan to stay in Kawaguchiko on the return trip the next day or not return to Tokyo with the bus, please prepare a departure consent form and submit it to the staff. The departure consent form will be emailed to your member's inbox along with the pre-departure notice. Please note this.
▲ If you depart at the 5th Station, you will forfeit your return transportation and hot spring tickets, and they will not be retained.

— Regarding Preparations:
▲ Please confirm the size of your rental gear; it cannot be changed after you arrive at the mountain. (Gear will be brought from the base of the mountain, please understand.)
▲ The temperature on the mountain fluctuates greatly, so it is recommended to bring warm clothing.
▲ It is recommended to rent hiking boots a half size larger and wear thicker socks.
▲ Restrooms on the mountain cost 200 yen per use, so please bring change.
▲ Includes an original Mt. Fuji climbing safety guide, work gloves, and a 500ml bottle of mineral water.
▲ Kenshin Peak Circumnavigation (1100 yen per person, approximately 90 minutes, requires 10 or more participants, payable on-site to the guide)
▲ The guide will arrange a Kenshin Peak circumnavigation on the second day (approximately 90 minutes), depending on weather conditions. You can choose to join the guide or not. The fee is 1100 yen, payable on-site.
▲ If you have no prior exercise or climbing experience, we recommend starting training three months before departure and attempting intermediate mountain routes.
