Senagajima Island is a new attraction in Naha, Okinawa, and home to the famous Happy Pancakes. Senagajima Island is located south of Naha Airport and is the closest outlying island. From Senagajima, you can enjoy up-close views of planes taking off and landing, complemented by breathtaking ocean views. Legend has it that Senagajima was the home of the gods of the ancient Ryukyu Kingdom and is now a prime spot for stunning sunsets. Senaga Island became even more popular with the opening of a shopping mall complex on the island in the summer of 2015. A must-try winter crab buffet is available at the Funiwa Restaurant at the Ryukyu Onsen Senaga Island Hotel. Access to Senaga Island is easy by car or by taking the free shuttle bus from Akagamine Station on the light rail.

Travel Notes

‧ Please rinse before entering the baths, tie up long hair, do not bring towels into the water, and do not bathe in swimsuits.

‧ Children over elementary school age should bathe with a parent of the same gender.

‧ Visitors with tattoos, regardless of size, are not permitted to use the hot springs. Intoxicated guests or those traveling with pets will not be admitted.

‧ For hygiene reasons, children wearing diapers or the elderly are not permitted to bathe.

‧ Those with high blood pressure or those in early pregnancy are advised not to participate in this tour.

‧ The free shuttle bus will board on a priority basis. It is recommended that you arrive at the designated location one bus in advance.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 14 days before the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 10-13 days (including the 10th day) before the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 7-9 days (including the 7th day) before the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 4-6 days (including the 4th day) before the start of the trip will incur a 60% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-3 days (including the 2nd day) before the start of the trip will incur a 70% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day before the start of the trip will incur an 80% handling fee.

Cancellations made on the start day of the trip are not eligible for a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued after deducting a 10% handling fee. Alternatively, you can choose to reschedule your event, in which case no payment will be deducted.

If a request to reschedule is made due to personal reasons, it will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy above.

If you cancel your participation during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.

From Okinawa Monorail's Akagamine Station, you can take the free shuttle bus to Senagajima Island. It's recommended to arrive one bus early and board the bus in the order it's waiting.
