▲ Angel's Tears - Jiaming Lake
Taitung's Jiaming Lake is Taiwan's second-highest alpine lake, second only to the Snow Mountain Cuichi. This angel's tears, a pearl in the southern second section of the Central Mountain Range, is a rare cirque lake on Earth. This secret Taitung spot, Jiaming Lake, has existed since the Ice Age. Its clear, azure waters sparkle in the sun, and its waters never dry up, making it as dreamy and beautiful as an angel's tear.

▲ Sancha Mountain

At 3,496 meters, it is the second peak in the Southern Second Section of the Central Mountain Range and ranks 28th among the 100 Great Mountains. Its majestic height and broad summit, though characterized by its gentle slopes despite its ups and downs, earn it the third spot among the Ten Great Mountains. The vast, open slopes are home to lush, rolling grasslands. The vibrant blossoms of spring and summer, and the snowy landscapes of winter, are unmissable sights on Sancha Mountain.

▲ Xiangyang Mountain

At 3,602 meters, it lies at the border of Taoyuan Township, Kaohsiung County, and Haiduan Township, Taitung County. It is a high mountain in the Southern Second Section of the Central Mountain Range and one of Taiwan's "Eight Great Mountains." On clear days, the morning sun illuminates the Xiangyang Collapse Cliffs, resembling maple leaves, earning it the nickname "Red Leaf Mountain." Xiangyang Mountain boasts a third-class triangulation point, No. 7529, ranking 17th among the 100 Great Mountains of Taiwan, making it the highest of the 100.
