Takato Castle, also known as "Kabutoyama Castle," is located in present-day Takato Town, Ina City, Nagano Prefecture. Originally built during the Warring States Period, Takato Castle underwent numerous renovations and relocations before finally becoming Takato Castle Park during the Meiji Period. Not only is it one of Japan's three most famous cherry blossom viewing spots, Takato Castle Park is also one of them, along with Aomori Hirosaki Park and Nara's Mount Yoshino, earning the title of "World's Best Cherry Blossom." Every spring, during the cherry blossom season, Takato Castle hosts the "Takato Castle Park Cherry Blossom Festival," attracting crowds of tourists for cherry blossom viewing and picnics. Beyond daytime, the tranquil beauty of the cherry blossoms at night, enhanced by the park's meticulously crafted lighting, is also stunning.

After the abolition of feudal domains and the establishment of prefectures in the early Meiji era, Takato Castle was demolished. The cherry blossoms outside the castle were originally used to shield the castle. After the abolition of the feudal domains, Takato gradually fell into disrepair. The former samurai then moved the cherry blossoms from outside the castle into this area, creating the current world-renowned cherry blossoms.

Approximately 400,000 cherry blossom-viewing tourists visit Takato Castle annually. The castle boasts approximately 1,500 Takato Hibiki cherry trees, the oldest of which is over 130 years old. Due to their large number, size, and delicate, slightly red blossoms, they are known as Japan's "World's No. 1 Cherry Blossom." Set against the majestic backdrop of the Alps, these cherry blossoms are a truly captivating sight.

A refund will be issued after deducting a 10% handling fee. Alternatively, you can choose to reschedule your event, in which case no payment will be deducted.

If a request to reschedule is made due to personal reasons, it will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy above.

If you cancel your participation during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
