- This Taitung Jiaming Lake hiking trip includes a hut or campsite application. To ensure a smooth application process, please complete your participant information immediately after booking. Failure to complete this will result in your cancellation and disqualification. Cancellation fees will apply. Please agree to this before registering.
- When booking this Taitung Jiaming Lake hiking trip, you must provide an emergency contact person. This person cannot be a traveling companion.
- This Taitung Jiaming Lake hiking trip includes accommodation at a hut or campsite. Free transportation is provided, and sleeping bags and mats are included. However, you must bring your own personal belongings, sleeping bags, and mats.
- Lunch will be served in the mountains. Please prepare your own rations for the three days (e.g., bread, dried meat, digestive biscuits, bacon, etc.) for easy portability and immediate consumption. - Vegetarian members of the hiking group will primarily be provided with hot pot vegetables. Please understand that mountain ingredients may be difficult to obtain.
- In the event of traffic restrictions, we may meet and depart earlier. We will notify you before the trip. Thank you for your cooperation.
- The mountainous area where this hiking activity takes place has a wide range of temperatures. Daytime temperatures (on sunny days) can reach over 20°C, while nighttime temperatures can drop to around 10°C. Please bring warm clothing. UV rays are strong in the mountains, so please bring sunscreen.
- The guide schedule for the hiking group may be adjusted based on the group's availability, weather conditions, and other factors.
- The trip is located in the mountains. The littering of garbage, fruit peels, and kitchen waste is strictly prohibited. Please respect the beautiful mountains and forests by placing your own trash in a garbage bag and bringing it down the mountain.
- Please arrive on time for the trip. Late arrivals will be deemed as forfeiture and no refunds will be given.
- Please pay attention to safety during the trip and follow the instructions of the tour leader or guide. Unauthorized risky actions or leaving the group are strictly prohibited. As outdoor activities are inherently dangerous and unpredictable, participants bear full responsibility for their own actions and the consequences.
- Before registering, please confirm that you are in good physical condition and suitable for mountain climbing and outdoor hiking. Those with heart disease, fear of heights, high blood pressure, pregnancy, or other conditions that would otherwise make it unsuitable for outdoor activities, or those who are too young or physically unable to complete the trip independently, should not register.
- In the event of force majeure on the day of departure, the guide reserves the right to change the departure schedule and refund the fee after deducting necessary expenses. No refunds or extensions will be granted for personal reasons.
- If a companion encounters a life-threatening situation during the trip, the entire group will retreat together without objection. Since mountaineering groups are legally considered a "community of risk," the entire group must retreat together.
- Lottery Results: We will notify you of the results of the Taitung Jiaming Lake Hiking Tour approximately 25 days prior to departure. If you are not selected, we will notify you before departure to reschedule or refund your Jiaming Lake Hiking Tour.
- Once you have been confirmed, the Taitung Jiaming Lake Hiking Tour cannot be changed. If you cancel for any reason, please refer to the cancellation policy.
- Activity Completion: If the group cannot be completed due to insufficient number of participants, we will notify you before departure to reschedule or refund your Jiaming Lake Hiking Tour.
