Located at the foot of Mount Nikko, Toshogu Shrine boasts over 400 years of history. It primarily enshrines Tosho Daigongen, the deified deity of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo shogunate. Its shrine and temple complex were designated a World Heritage Site and an Intangible Cultural Heritage in 1999. Don't miss the Yomeimon main hall, as well as the story-filled carvings of the "Three Monkeys," the "Sleeping Cat," and the "Crying Dragon." These magnificent structures offer a deeper understanding of the essence of Japanese shrine architecture.

There are as many as 48 waterfalls near Nikko, Tokyo. Among them, the most spectacular and famous is Kegon Falls, considered one of Japan's three great waterfalls. The waters of Lake Chuzenji cascade down from a 97-meter-high cliff. Kegon Falls's vast scale offers a glimpse into both the majestic grandeur of nature and the magnificent beauty of its forms. An elevator ride to the observation deck provides a close-up view of the falls, where the rumbling sound and splashing water are breathtaking.

Mt. Futara is one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains. Lake Chuzenji was formed when lava from the eruption of Mt. Futara blocked the Yukawa River. This lake is a representative alpine lake in Japan (at an elevation of 1,269 meters) and the largest in Nikko National Park, boasting exceptionally clear waters.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellation Policy for Local Day Tours in Japan

Cancellations made 12 days or more before the selected itinerary date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 8 and 11 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 1 and 2 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 0 and 10 days before the start of the itinerary will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
