A limited-time encounter with a fishing village, introducing you to traditional fishing culture—wait another year if you miss it!

This short trip, combining history, culture, environmental education, and artistic experiences, gives you a truly local experience in conjunction with the Zhuangwei Art Festival.

"Drawing nets" is one of Taiwan's oldest fishing methods and a symbol of teamwork. Through hands-on experience, you'll experience the bravery of our ancestors. Stroll along the coast of Liushapu and hear stories of the settlement's traditions. The experience concludes with a unique ending. Wherever you go, you'll leave your footprints. Combining environmental education with beach cleanup, we've created a large-scale art installation using discarded driftwood!

Use natural elements to beautify the land while preserving its beauty! Take advantage of the beautiful weather and explore the fusion of fishing village and art in Zhuangwei.

Travel Notes

Check-in time: June 2nd (by shuttle bus) 7:30-8:00 AM, meet at the entrance of Hi-Life, Nangang Exhibition Center, Exit 1.
- Those traveling independently, please arrive at the Fuhou Community Activity Center in Zhuangwei Township at 9:30 AM.
- This event will be a full day from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Please participate fully.
- Please keep your valuables secure and take precautions when carrying them with you.
- If you have any comments or questions during the event, please contact the organizer afterward for a discussion.
- This event is available in case of rain and will proceed as planned. The fishing activity is subject to weather conditions and the organizer reserves the right to make changes or adjustments.
- If you need to cancel or arrive late on the day, please contact the organizer by phone so that they can arrange your next itinerary.

The cost includes:

- Expenses incurred due to personal reasons, such as beverages, alcohol, personal shopping, etc.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.

Getting There

By Car: Take Provincial Highway 2 through Zhuangwei to the Funhou Community Activity Center. Parking is available at the center, so arrive early! By Train: Take Yilan Jinhaoxing Bus No. 791 and get off at Yushimiao Station.
