Wuyanjiao, Yilan, marks the starting point of Taiwan's Central Mountain Range. Its exceptionally long paddling distance and pristine blue waters make it a popular challenge for SUP enthusiasts! For non-professionals, this sailing experience features large dragon boats (six people per board + one instructor), with a motorboat towing for part of the journey. This reduces the journey from a three-hour manual paddling trip to just 40 minutes, allowing guests to spend more time and enjoy the secrets of Wuyanjiao.

After setting off on this Wuyanjiao SUP sailing trip, you'll pass through Zeizi'ao, Neipi's Azure Coast, and the quarry cliffs before arriving at the secret spot known as the Blue Beer Sea. Admire the stunning gravel beaches, sea caves, and crystal-clear waters, and of course, enjoy a private party-like water experience. This is a professional Wuyanjiao SUP sailing experience designed specifically for beginners.

Professional Team Introduction

Our team is Yilan's first legal SUP operator, boasting over 20,000 tours in open water.

Complete base facilities: Parking is available. Spacious indoor teaching space, sun-proof! Dedicated luggage storage, and showers with hot and cold water (including hairdryers).

Instructor-to-student ratio: 1:6 to 1:8 (depending on sea conditions and number of participants).

SUP equipment provided: Top-tier inflatable SUP brand "Red Paddle" boards, special SUP paddles, and leg leashes.

Complimentary GoPro photography service is provided for all participants (subject to availability and instructor-directed photography; no specific service is available).

Travel Notes

[Booking Information]
． The Wuyanjiao Dragon Boat SUP activity in Yilan is suitable for children aged 6 and above and must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
． Single registrations are not accepted. The minimum registration number is 2 or more.
． Non-swimmers are welcome to participate and must follow the instructor's instructions at all times.
． Wuyanjiao Dragon Boat SUP activities require a normal level of physical fitness. If you are in poor physical or mental condition, have a serious medical condition (heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc.), are pregnant, or have children under 120cm, please refrain from participating.
． This activity will arrange for 6 people to share a board with 1 instructor on board. Individuals will not be offered a one-person-per-board experience to prevent fatigue midway through the experience.
． Each group must have a minimum of 10 participants. If the group cannot be formed due to insufficient numbers, we will notify you at least 3 days prior to the activity to reschedule or provide a full refund.

If the instructor deems the activity unfeasible due to force majeure factors such as weather conditions, rescheduling or cancellation with a refund is possible.

[Activity Description]

Please arrive 10 minutes early to change outfits. Late arrivals will not be accepted and the group will depart without a refund. Please note.

The Wuyanjiao waters are a long open water excursion (over 10 km). In the event of wind or poor wave conditions, the company will relocate the experience to the designated waters of Kuaizi'ao/Tofu Cape for safety reasons. No refunds will be given once the group has officially departed.

In the event of bad weather, our team reserves the right to terminate the tour. If you notify us in advance of the termination of the experience due to bad weather, you will receive a full refund (minus 150 yuan per person for insurance) or reschedule the experience.

Tour Pricing

The cost includes:

- Full dragon boating experience equipment (including life jacket)
- Professional instructor
- Powerboat escort and towing
- Toilet facilities
- Bonus: GoPro videography throughout the trip (based on instructor's on-site footage)
- Public liability insurance (NT$3 million) / medical insurance (NT$300,000)

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 4-6 days (including the 6th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1-3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.

Cancellations made on the day of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

If rescheduling is required due to personal reasons, please notify us at least 4 days in advance. One rescheduling is permitted and all arrangements for the current year are finalized. Cancellation and refund requests will not be accepted after rescheduling.

Rescheduling within 3 days of the event will not be accepted and will be deemed a cancellation, subject to the above cancellation terms.

If participation is cancelled during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.

Getting There

Meeting Address: No. 47, Zaochuan Road, Su'ao Township, Yilan County (formerly the main entrance of Tofu Cape 17 Seafood Restaurant).

1. By Car: Exit the Su'ao Interchange on National Highway 5 and proceed straight south onto the Coastal Highway. At the Su'ao Port Road intersection, turn left onto Nanfang'ao. At the Nanfang'ao Bridge, turn left and follow Neipi Road uphill to Xuefu Road. Turn right and pass the dike section next to Nan'an Junior High School. The first building on the right corner with a three-story observatory is the meeting point.

2. By Bus: Take the Kuo-Kuang Bus from Taipei Yuanshan Station or Nangang Station to Nanfang'ao Station. You can walk or take a taxi to the meeting point.

3. By Train: Take the bus to Su'ao New Station or Su'ao Train Station. From there, take a taxi to the experience location (fare approximately NT$150-180).
