Penghu Diving Experience: Undersea Mailbox Photos & Postcards | No Diving License Required

The Penghu diving experience is open to guests aged 12 to 55. Guests under 20 must be accompanied by a parent who has signed a written agreement.

The Penghu diving experience is open to those weighing under 100 kg.

Guests must provide their own transportation (motorcycle or car). You will meet at the base, complete your information, and attend the on-shore briefing. Your instructor will then lead you from the meeting point to the snorkeling location (the Hangwan Underwater Mailbox in Suogang).

If the Hangwan area, where the underwater mailbox is located, is too rough to dive, we will relocate to a more suitable area. Shanshui Harbor, for example, is less affected by wind and waves, but lacks an underwater mailbox. Instead, it boasts natural coral reefs, glowworm damselfish, pufferfish, and the chance to encounter sea turtles.

Exclusive waterproof postcards for the Penghu Underwater Mailbox are not included in the diving fee. Additional postcards can be purchased on-site.

If you wish to write a postcard before the activity begins, please arrive early and inform the instructor of your intention to write a postcard in advance. This will prevent any delays to your experience and the well-being of other guests after the activity begins.


Please refrain from flying within 12 hours of the Penghu diving experience to avoid decompression sickness (diving sickness). Please refrain from diving before your flight on the last day of your trip. This does not apply to boat passengers.


Myopic individuals will be provided with a prescription mask. Please provide your "myopia prescription" in the passenger list in the "Notes" section.


Women who are menstruating and are not feeling unwell or unwell may bring their own tampons.


People with colds, ear problems, pregnant women, asthma, diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, high/low blood pressure, epilepsy, osteoporosis, or claustrophobia are not suitable for this Penghu diving experience.

In the event of adverse weather or unavoidable safety reasons, the company reserves the right to cancel or adjust the itinerary for the safety of all participants. Please do not participate if you cannot accept the possibility of itinerary changes.
