▲ Zao Eco Line Snow Corridor The beautiful and spectacular "Snow Corridor" can only be seen in spring. In Zao Town, the Zao Eco Line Snow Corridor is closed during winter. During its open period from late April to mid-May, you can see the "Snow Corridor" piled up like walls on both sides of the road. Only during this period can you enjoy the double benefits of the snow-covered Zao Eco Line Snow Corridor and the blooming cherry blossoms in the neighboring towns. ▲ Shiraishi River One Thousand Cherry Blossoms at a Glance The Shiraishi River One Thousand Cherry Blossoms stretch for approximately 8 kilometers, and the Shiraishi River embankment flowing through Ōgawara-cho is a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing. Including cherry trees over 80 years old and Somei Yoshino cherry trees, the name "One Thousand Cherry Blossoms at a Glance" means that you can see a thousand cherry trees at a glance. There are approximately 1,200 cherry trees planted along the Shiraishi River One Thousand Cherry Blossoms, offering views of the Zao Mountain Range with its lingering snow and the beautiful scenery of cherry blossoms in full bloom.

Travel Notes

╴ The cherry blossom viewing period for the 2026 Miyagi Cherry Blossom Day Trip may be slightly affected by weather conditions.

╴ Due to varying annual snowfall and weather conditions, the height of the snow corridor may not be ideal. Please be aware of this.

╴ The itinerary order may be adjusted depending on road conditions on the day.

╴ The bus and tour leader will first travel to another departure point. Due to road conditions, they may not arrive on time. Please be patient.

╴ The company is not responsible for delays, itinerary changes, or cancellations caused by force majeure events such as traffic or weather. Any resulting expenses will be borne by the tour participant. Thank you for your understanding.

╴ In case of typhoons, blizzards, or other inclement weather, a decision on whether to cancel the tour will be made at 15:00 Japan time the day before departure. Notification will be sent via email.

╴ The meeting and dismissal points will differ. Please confirm with the tour leader on the day of departure. Please note that this tour does not include sightseeing information.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellation Policy for Local Day Tours in Japan

Cancellations made 12 days or more before the selected itinerary date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 8 and 11 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 1 and 2 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 0 and 10 days before the start of the itinerary will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
