Tour Overview

Visit the must-see UNESCO World Heritage Sites including: Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, and Topkapi Palace

Visit Istanbul: The world's only major city spanning Europe and Asia

Explore Istanbul's famous attractions in one day: the Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar.
The Hippodrome, once a venue for chariot races and the center of Byzantine civic life, is now a rectangular park. Among its attractions are the Wilhelm II Fountain, built to commemorate a visit by German Emperor Wilhelm II; an Egyptian obelisk from the Karnak Temple in Luxor; the bronze Column of the Serpent, brought by Constantine the Great from the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, Greece; and the Roman replica of the Column of Constantine, commemorating the achievements of the Roman emperor.
Hagia Sophia blends Eastern Byzantine and Islamic architectural styles. It was once a Christian church and an Islamic mosque, and now serves as a museum documenting precious cultural heritage.
The Blue Mosque is the masterpiece of Mehmet Aga, a disciple of Sinan, one of the most accomplished architects in the Islamic world. It is a magnificent masterpiece of Ottoman architecture and art. Its use of Izni blue tiles imbues the interior with a vibrant blue hue, earning it the name "Blue Mosque."
Topkapi Palace, once a venue for state ceremonies and royal entertainment, is now a major tourist attraction. It is the first museum established after the founding of the Turkish Republic and the largest palace-style museum in the world.
The Grand Bazaar is one of the largest and oldest bazaars in the world. Spanning 42,000 square meters, it features at least 61 covered streets and over 4,000 shops selling everything from jewelry, ceramics, and spices to carpets, scarves, and leather goods. It also houses a mosque, a bank, a police station, and restaurants.
