▲ Tefuye Historic Trail
The Tefuye Historic Trail in Alishan Township, Chiayi County, became a hit after director Mai Jueming filmed "In the Footsteps of the Gods: Tefuye." The 6,320-meter-long Tefuye Historic Trail was originally a hunting trail for the Tsou people. During the Japanese colonial period, the trail's later section was converted into the "Shuishan Line" railway for transporting timber, and many railway remnants remain. The trail's first section is relatively flat, while the latter section descends steeply down a wooden stairway through a primeval broadleaf forest, offering a diverse landscape that changes with each season.

Dongpu Hot Springs
Located in Xinyi Township, Nantou County, it was developed as a popular hot spring destination during the Japanese colonial period. However, Dongpu was still a small village in the mountainous area of Nantou, making transportation difficult. It wasn't until the opening of the new Central Cross-Island Highway that the Dongpu Hot Springs scenic area began to rapidly develop. Combined with the surrounding rich natural ecology and cultural landscape (including the traditional Bunun tribe), Dongpu Hot Springs has become an excellent hot spring and vacation destination in central Taiwan.

[ Booking Tips ]
． During the Spring Festival holiday, children aged 4 and over are charged the same price as adults. For children under 3, the fee only includes administrative insurance.
． This tour covers only the first half of the Tefuye Kou Trail, starting from the 0-entry point of Zhongduan and continuing until 3.7 kilometers. The trail is gentle and easy (3.7 kilometers one way, 7.4 kilometers round trip). The round trip takes approximately 3-3.5 hours, making it suitable for a family trip.
． Accommodation will be arranged at the Dongpu Tilun Hot Spring Resort Hotel. We do not offer room sharing with other guests. Please select the room type and price based on the number of guests staying. For example, if you are registering for 2 guests, please select a double room.
． Accommodation is primarily in double or quad rooms. If the hotel does not have a triple room, we will substitute a double room with an extra bed or a quad room. Please consider the actual availability of the room type. We do not accept specific room types.
． This tour's vehicle type may be adjusted based on the number of registered participants, with options for 9-, 25-, or 42-seater vehicles available. No objections will be accepted. For smaller 9-seater vehicles, the driver will accompany the group, and no separate guide will be assigned.

This tour requires a minimum of 15 participants. Customer service will confirm the tour's availability three days prior to departure. If the tour is unable to complete due to insufficient numbers, the itinerary may be rescheduled or cancelled for a refund.

A pre-trip notice will be sent prior to departure, so please pay close attention.

If you are unable to board the bus or disembark during the trip due to personal reasons, it will be deemed as a forfeit and no refund or re-boarding will be available.

The tour leader may adjust the itinerary based on factors such as events, festivals, weather, and road conditions, and will inform you in advance.

· Passengers agree that after ordering and paying for this product, any cancellation or postponement will be their sole responsibility.

· In the event of force majeure such as a typhoon before departure, as announced by meteorological authorities, the departure will be postponed and a new departure date will be scheduled. If the customer voluntarily withdraws from the tour, a 5% deduction will be made for the tour fee.

· Our travel agency does not arrange shopping stops, no shopping stops, and no on-board shopping. We provide "pure tourism" services to ensure the quality and safety of our passengers.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
