Hualien's biggest event, the daylily season, from August to September each year, draws tourists from all over the world with its spectacular and romantic sea of golden blossoms. Sixty Stone Mountain is one of the most famous spots for daylily viewing. Located at the southernmost tip of Hualien, many travelers often worry about transportation and accommodations. Therefore, with a special bus departing from Hualien City, you can easily visit the daylily fields in a single day, without the hassles of traffic control. You can also visit attractions along the way, such as the Guangfu Sugar Refinery and Ruisui Ranch.

- A Short Story About Sixty Stone Mountain-

Typical paddy fields only yield about 40 to 50 dan of rice, but the rice paddies in this area of Hualien can produce 60 dan of rice grains, earning it the name Sixty Stone Mountain.

In August and September, when the daylilies are in full bloom, a mixture of yellow and green hues dot the hills, dotted with a few farmers harvesting them. At dawn and dusk, the mountain mist lingers, creating a fairyland-like scene. It is truly a world-class must-see. At the same time, the daylilies of Liushishi Mountain are also known as one of the eight great flower fields in the world, along with the cherry blossoms in Japan and South Korea, the tulips in Türkiye, and the lavender in Provence!

Travel Notes

- This day-trip package will be arranged based on the number of registered participants: 6-8 people will use a seven- or nine-seater vehicle; nine or more people will use a medium (or large) vehicle.

- This tour will depart from Hualien Train Station or offer hotel pickup in downtown Hualien (primarily within the city). Pickup is required approximately 30 minutes prior to departure, and the actual pickup time will be notified prior to departure.

- To request pickup at a downtown hotel, please select the "Downtown Hotel Pickup" option during booking and provide the name of the meeting point in your reservation information.

- The driver will provide a detailed explanation on board. After arriving at each attraction, guests are free to explore freely.

- Please complete each guest's basic information during registration for insurance purposes.

- The itinerary's attractions and order are subject to change based on regulatory restrictions. Thank you for your understanding.

- Due to the risk of traffic congestion during the flower season, if you have scheduled trains or other transportation after the tour, please schedule them after 6:00 PM to avoid delays. If you change or cancel your itinerary before departure, an administrative fee will be charged based on the cancellation date, as per the Tourism Bureau's individual travel contract.

Please meet on time on the day of the activity. No refunds will be given if you are unable to meet up or are separated from the group due to personal reasons.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
