Hualien Xiuguluan River Rafting Tour | Boat Upgrade. City Pickup Available

If the number of participants on the Hualien Xiuguluan River rafting trip is less than 6, the trip will be canceled. A notification will be sent by phone before 6:00 PM the day before departure. Only those who are willing to participate can register.

- Participants must be at least 6 years old and under 65 years old to participate in the Hualien Xiuguluan River rafting trip. Pregnant women, those with asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or osteoporosis are prohibited from participating. If the water level is determined to be unsuitable for rafting on that day, participants who insist on participating after being advised will assume all responsibility.
- The Hualien Xiuguluan River rafting trip takes place from May to October each year, so please take advantage of this prime time. Registration is available outside of peak season, but we will prioritize the number of participants based on the number of participants. We will contact you by phone the day before the trip to notify you.
- The Hualien Xiuguluan River rafting trip takes approximately 4.5 hours and is subject to change based on the availability of the day's activities. If you have other plans after the Xiuguluan River rafting trip, please allow more flexibility to avoid delays.
- Rafting on the Xiuguluan River in Hualien requires you to paddle your own boat throughout the entire trip, and lifeguards will be on duty at all times.
- The Xiuguluan River rafting activity in Hualien ends at No. 97, Dagangkou, Gangkou Village, Fengbin Township, Hualien County (the final destination). This is not the original meeting point. If you wish to return to the original meeting point, next to the Ruisui Rafting Visitor Center, we strongly recommend purchasing a one-way transfer back to the original meeting point during booking.
- For round-trip transfers to and from Hualien City, you can choose from the following locations: Hualien Train Station Front Station, Hualien Train Station Back Station, Ji'an Train Station, Zhixue Train Station, Meilun Stadium, Stone Run (a landmark of Dongdamen Night Market), Container Starbucks, or Zeng Ji Mochi at the airport. Please enter your pick-up location in the "Meeting Point" field after registration. As the one-way trip takes approximately 1.5 hours, the actual pick-up time and driver's contact information will be provided around 9:00 PM the day before. Please pay close attention to the text message.
- For those planning to return by train, please allow extra travel time:

* For those joining the 9:00 AM train, the estimated arrival time will be 3:30 PM. Please book a train departing from Ruisui Train Station after 5:30 PM or from Hualien Train Station after 6:30 PM.

* For those joining the 11:00 AM train, the estimated arrival time will be 5:30 PM. Please book a train departing from Ruisui Train Station after 6:30 PM or from Hualien Train Station after 8:00 PM.
- For rafting on the Xiuguluan River in Hualien, all boats are available, with each boat accommodating approximately 8-10 passengers.
- For your protection, please wear thin, long-sleeved clothing (to prevent sunburn and abrasions) and covered shoes (cloth shoes, river trekking shoes, and waterproof shoes are all suitable). Slippers are not permitted.
- Please do not bring valuables or consumer electronics (e.g., cell phones, wallets, cash, dentures, watches, earrings, etc.) while rafting on the Hualien Xiuguluan River. We are not responsible for any loss during the rafting.
- Please refrain from consuming alcohol before or during the rafting. Do not remove your life jacket or helmet or unfasten the buttons while on the waterway. Do not drift away from your group or raft alone without the assistance of a lifeguard.
- Please be sure to bring a change of clothes and a towel for afterward.
- A dedicated bathroom is available at the destination of the rafting on the Hualien Xiuguluan River. It provides hot water, squeeze shampoo, body wash, and a coin-operated hairdryer and dryer for your convenience.
Rafting on the Xiuguluan River in Hualien is a challenging and intense activity. Our company has provided accident insurance of NT$3 million and medical insurance of NT$30,000 (payable at the time of purchase). Any injuries sustained during the rafting trip will be covered by insurance, and legal action will be rendered ineffective.

Due to the pandemic, and to avoid large gatherings, Chi Mei will not provide rest stops or meals during the Xiuguluan River rafting trip in Hualien. We recommend that guests fill their stomachs beforehand.
