Hallasan, South Korea's highest peak, is a must-see attraction on any visit to Jeju Island.

Located in the center of Jeju Island, its towering peak is visible from all directions.

Hallasan is a spiritual symbol of the Korean people and a must-climb for every Korean.

During cherry blossom season, don't miss the opportunity to admire the cherry blossoms and admire Hallasan, South Korea's highest peak.

#Hyeojae + Geumneung Beach (40 minutes)
Hyeojae Beach, located west of Hallim-eup, boasts a white sandy beach covered in shell dust. The 9-kilometer coastline is a breathtaking backdrop of blue waters and lush pine forests. The 20-meter-long beach is shallow at just 1.2 meters and has a gentle slope, making it perfect for family beachcombing. Various amenities are available, and camping is also possible within the pine forest. The two connected beaches, Geumneung Beach and Hyeopjae Beach, are so clear you can see the sand on the bottom.

#O'sulloc Tea Museum (40 minutes)
The O'sulloc Tea Museum, O'sulloc, is a comprehensive Korean tea museum that showcases the evolution of Korean tea culture, the tea-making process, its uses, and its varieties. The museum's collection of rare teacups from Europe and Asia is particularly worth seeing. Observation decks on the second and third floors offer stunning views of the tea fields. O'sulloc Tea House also serves colorful tea-themed treats, such as green tea cakes and green tea soft serve ice cream.

#Garden of Thought (40 minutes)
Garden of Thought (Bonsai Art Garden), Korea's only dedicated bonsai park and the world's largest, is known as the "Garden of Imagination," offering a haven of peace and tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. The Jeju Bonsai Art Garden is located 40 kilometers northwest of Jeju Island, between Hanlim Park and Sanbangsan Mountain. It's about a 10-minute walk to the left from Geumneung Beach. Opened in July 1992, the garden covers 30,000 square meters. It features over 1,700 rare tree species, including maples, wisteria, and pines, ranging in age from 30 to 300 years old. Over 1,000 wildflowers and orchids native to Jeju are also featured, creating a captivating spectacle.

#Sanbangsan (40 minutes)
Sanbangsan Mountain, a bell-shaped volcanic formation, rises from the plains of southwestern Jeju Island. The cliffs on the south side of Yongduam, between 150 and 300 meters high, are filled with weathering holes and cliff cones. At 150 meters above sea level, Sanbangseokgu, approximately 10 meters long and 5 meters wide and high, is a sea cave offering beautiful views of the ocean and is considered one of Jeju's Ten Scenic Spots.

# Yongdu Coast (40 minutes)
This coast is named after the Sanbang Mountain Range, which eroded as it extended toward the coast, creating a shape resembling a dragon's head plunging into the sea. The coast's sandstone layers, formed over tens of millions of years, form bizarre and overlapping layers, making it a perfect spot for sightseeing and experiencing the wonders of nature. Yongdu Coast features deep caves and wide rock formations, eroded in beautiful curves, resembling rooms, creating a spectacular sight.

# Columnar Joint Zone (40 minutes)
Columnar joints are vertical joints found in basaltic lava, most of which are polygonal (usually pentagonal or hexagonal). This is the result of lava erupting from the crater and flowing into the Seogwipo coast, where it rapidly cooled and contracted upon encountering the seawater. The columnar joints here are 30-40 meters tall and about 1,000 meters wide, making them the largest in South Korea.

#DutyFreeShop
