Hop aboard a rubber raft to admire the rich ecological landscape of the Xiuguluan River estuary, learn the ancient wisdom of catching spray crabs, and even try traditional archery. In just half a day, immerse yourself in the joys of Jingpu Tribe life!

Located in Fengbin Township, Hualien's warm coastal climate offers abundant fishing opportunities. Watch the waves shimmer, a path etched in the water. Step aboard a rubber raft, facing the vast ocean, with lush green mountains behind you and the tranquil Xibulan Island nearby. This breathtaking blend of mountain, sea, river, and island scenery can only be experienced here at the Xiuguluan River estuary.

Back at shore, standing in the refreshingly cool water, anticipate the surprise of catching marine life using ancient wisdom. Behold, spray crabs! Guided by a professional spray crab instructor, you'll experience Jingpu's unique Pacific spray crab ecosystem up close.
Then, shouldering the eight-diagram fishing net that sustains their livelihood, I gather the strength of my waist. With a swish, it becomes a testament to today's fishermen, experiencing the unique Jingpu fishing method.

Seawater transforms into salt on my body, and I carry it ashore, grasping the bow, drawing the string, and releasing the arrow! The salt slips unnoticed from my shoulders and arms, returning to the land that belongs to the Jingpu tribe. When I regain consciousness, the arrow has already hit the bull's eye.

Travel Notes

- This half-day Jingpu Tribe experience is free for children under 5 years old.
- Because this half-day Jingpu Tribe experience includes many outdoor activities, adults are requested to ensure the safety of children under 10 years old.
- Please arrive at Jingpu Tribe 10-20 minutes early.
- The times of various activities are subject to change based on on-site conditions.
- This activity is a group-entry and group-departure experience. Once the group has departed, latecomers will not be accommodated and no refunds will be given. Please be especially careful not to be late to avoid any consequences.
- For your safety, please follow the instructions of the tribe partners to avoid danger or injury.
- Rain generally does not affect the activity, and the tribe partners will provide raincoats!
- If the activity is canceled due to weather conditions, we will notify you by phone one day before departure. If no notification is received, the activity will proceed as scheduled!
- If the wind and wave conditions are bad on the day of the activity, or there are force majeure factors such as heavy rain, thunder, strong winds, typhoons, etc., the instructor will decide whether to cancel the activity based on safety considerations!

The cost does not include:

Any expenses not specified in the Jingpu Tribe Half-Day Experience Itinerary, any self-funded expenses or any expenses derived from the itinerary.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 4-6 days (including the 6th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1-3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.

Cancellations made on the start date of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the above cancellation policy.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
