Located on Mt Cotton, Hilume Winery is approximately a 40-minute drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. The winery boasts a fully-equipped vineyard, state-of-the-art winemaking equipment, a cellar door, and an award-winning restaurant, making it one of Queensland's largest and most highly acclaimed wineries.

Hilume Winery boasts stunning mountaintop views and unique winery architecture. You can also spot a diverse array of wildlife on the estate. The wines produced here are truly exceptional. Relax with a glass of wine and a delicious meal.

Good wine comes from good vines. All of Hilumi's high-quality, high-caliber wines are produced from vineyards in the Granite Belt and Mount Cotton. The Granite Belt region boasts Australia's highest vineyards (820 meters above sea level). Its naturally excellent soil and unique geographical environment, combined with the winery's meticulous cultivation, have resulted in a variety of top-quality grape varieties, forming the backbone of Hilumi's exquisite wines.

Hilumi's Chief Winemaker, Adam Chapman, is an experienced and discerning winemaker. He apprenticed in ancient winemaking regions of France and has served as a judge at major Australian wine competitions. He has dedicated his life to creating exquisite wines with a distinct Australian flair, and his wines have earned Hilumi numerous prestigious awards both domestically and internationally. In addition to offering a wide variety of varietals, Hilumi can also custom-craft unique wines to perfectly suit individual market needs.

Hilumi Winery Tour and Tasting (Advance booking required, winery tour available in Chinese)
Take a walking tour inside our winery and learn about the making of premium wines and the characteristics of fine Australian wine. The tour will explain the winemaking process, the story of Hilumi as Queensland's most iconic wine brand, and the winemaking techniques of our Chief Winemaker, Adam. Finally, return to the winery to sample 6-8 of Hilumi's award-winning wines and discuss the tasting process. Opening Hours - Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Additional Details - Please wear closed-toe shoes when visiting the winery.

Lurleen's
Lurleen's has been voted Queensland's Best Winery Restaurant for four consecutive years. After a comprehensive winery tour and wine tasting, enjoy a quintessentially Australian two-course lunch (starter and main or main and dessert) in the restaurant. Dining at Lurleen's offers a culinary feast in a luxurious and comfortable setting. All ingredients are sourced from the freshest local Queensland seafood, organic fruits and vegetables, and spices to perfectly complement our wines. Enjoy a truly exceptional meal at Lurleen's. Vegetarians and food allergies are welcome. Please inform us in advance.
Breakfast: 8 am to 10 am (Saturday and Sunday)

Tuscan Terrace
After a trip to Tuscany, Italy, owner Lurleen Morris established "Amoroso," an open-air dining area next to the winery's salesroom. Her overall design evokes the romantic and atmospheric atmosphere of Tuscany. After a winery tour and wine experience, enjoy Tuscan-style bread, salads, and pasta at Tuscan Terrace, surrounded by fig trees and breathtaking views of rolling hills, vineyards, and meadows. Vegetarians or those with any food allergies should inform us in advance.
Lunch: 11:30am to 3pm (Wednesday to Sunday)

Cellar Door
Join this winery walking tour and tasting experience. Learn about the entire winemaking process, from harvest to vinification, and gain an overview of different wine varieties. Visit the winery's facilities and cellar, followed by a tasting of 6-8 wines led by a professional wine taster from Hilo. Lunch includes a plated entree of chicken fillet, salad, and chips, plus a drink or coffee. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon of Australian cuisine and sunshine at your choice of outdoor seating in the cellar. Vegetarians and those with food allergies should notify us in advance; the dining area is self-service.

Wine Tasting: 9am to 4:30pm – Seven Days a Week

Lunch: 11:30am to 3pm (Wednesday to Sunday)

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 4-6 days (including the 6th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1-3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.

Cancellations made on the start date of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the above cancellation policy.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
