Let's challenge Southeast Asia's highest peak—Mt. Kinabalu (4,095.2 meters).
Mount Kinabalu (4,095.2 meters), Southeast Asia's highest peak, has long been a dream for mountaineering enthusiasts and one of Sabah's most captivating tourist destinations. Some say it's one of the easiest mountains to climb. But don't underestimate the path to the summit; it's filled with challenges, so don't take it lightly!
Every year, countless climbers from all ages and sizes, from all nationalities, successfully reach the summit with their energy and stamina. Under clear skies, the view from the summit is breathtaking, and the greatest reward is witnessing the breathtaking sea of clouds and sunrise.
The base and huts on the mountainside are well-equipped, but daily quotas are limited. We welcome you to join us, and we wish you success in your summit quest!
Itinerary Schedule
Day 1
12:00 Meet at the hotel lobby and depart for Mount Kinabalu Park Headquarters.
*You may also depart between 06:30 and 07:30 or between 11:30 and 12:30.
Expected arrival time: 14:00. Your driver/guide will assist with check-in and other formalities, and provide a briefing on the following day's hiking. After the briefing, your driver/guide will depart the park, leaving you free to explore and relax. Dinner will be served at a restaurant within the park, and overnight accommodation will be at the Hill Lodge.
Day 2
08:00 Transfer to a restaurant within the park for breakfast and lunch.
After breakfast, proceed to the Mount Kinabalu Park Headquarters office to meet your hiking guide.
09:00 Transfer to the Timpohon Gate (1,892 meters), the mountain entrance.
Accompanied by your mountain guide, begin your ascent of Mount Kinabalu. The climb takes approximately 4 to 6 hours, with stops for rest and lunch.
14:00 Estimated arrival at Laban Rata. Check into the mountain lodge (mixed bunk beds, no heating).
17:30 Dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant (dinner time: 17:30 to 19:30).
After dinner, free time for leisure or rest. Overnight at the mountain lodge.

Day 3
01:30 Wake up, wash up, and head to the Laban Rata restaurant for refreshments (2:00 AM to 3:30 AM).
02:30 Armed with flashlights, prepare for the summit trek, which takes approximately 3 hours.
05:00 Stand at the summit and admire the magnificent scenery of the rising sun, the shimmering sea of clouds, and the earth's awakening.
06:00 Descend back to Laban Rata (Note: All climbers must leave the summit by 6:30 AM).
08:00 Return to Laban Rata for breakfast (7:30 AM to 10:30 AM).
10:00 Prepare for descent.
15:00 Return to the Kinabalu Park headquarters to collect your climbing certificate and enjoy lunch at the restaurant. (Latecomers will receive a packed lunch at the restaurant.)
16:00 Depart for Kota Kinabalu city.
18:00 Estimated arrival in Kota Kinabalu city. Transfer back to your respective hotels for the night.
Travel Notes
As this is a high-altitude mountaineering activity, please consider your physical fitness.
1. You will need to apply for a mountain entry permit, so please remember to bring a copy of your passport.
2. Recommended items: hiking shoes/cream, rain gear, a hat, sunscreen/lotion, warm clothing, a change of clothing, cotton gloves, a headlamp, and drinking water.
3. Participants over 50 years old must provide a doctor's certificate.
5. Accommodation is in double rooms; single rooms are subject to an additional charge.

*Climbers are advised to undergo a pre-trip physical examination. Avoid mountaineering if you have any of the following conditions:
High blood pressure
Diabetes
Heart palpitations
Arthritis
Heart disease
Severe anemia
Peptic ulcer
Epilepsy
Overweight
Chronic asthma
Muscle cramps
Hepatitis (jaundice)
Any other medical condition that may impede mountaineering
