Tour Overview
From early January to late March each year, whale watching tours are the most popular winter marine activity in Okinawa. Every whale watching trip is unique. Many tourists, including locals, have taken multiple whale watching tours, and the sight of whales near the boat is always thrilling and surprising.
Whale watching is also a great activity for children, perfect for families.
Where are the whales?
The most common whales in Okinawa are humpback whales and dolphins (Pseudorca crassidens). Most whales and dolphins are found around Chibishi Island or in the Kerama Islands of Okinawa.
