Warm-up tips: Wear warm layers with low necklines and warm leggings (tights cannot be replaced with two-toed socks). We also recommend bringing your own hand warmer or a haori.

※Hair styling is for women only and is by appointment only. Hair accessories are not available for rental, but are available for purchase.

※Makeup is light, everyday, not maiko-style, and does not include false eyelashes.

※Your clothing must be returned to the main building by 5:00 PM the following day.

※You can leave your changed clothes at the building free of charge.

Large luggage storage: 500 yen per item per day.

※ Each reservation holder is limited to one piece of luggage.

※ Suitcases, strollers, and luggage larger than 50cm x 40cm are considered large and will incur an additional fee.

※ Luggage storage will not be available after returning the item to the store.

※ Please ensure that valuables, breakables, and fresh food are kept by you.

※ Pregnant women are not recommended; a signed agreement is required.

※ The photoshoot can accommodate up to four people, but a single person is also welcome. The photoshoot lasts approximately 1.5 hours, and the duration may vary depending on the itinerary.
※ Taxi fares for photoshoots (Transportation is limited to taxis; taxi fares for transportation to and from the various attractions are the customer's responsibility.)
※ Accompanying staff for photoshoots: Photographer and interpreter (up to 2 people). (Japanese photographers may also require an interpreter depending on the circumstances.)
※ If necessary or due to the studio's regulations, the photographer and staff may be required to drink or eat with you during photoshoots; any food and beverage expenses are the customer's responsibility.
※ A 10% surcharge applies during peak photoshoot season, which is from November 18, 2017, to December 5, 2017. Cherry Blossom Season 2018/3/23~2018/4/15
※Perfume is prohibited. If your rental clothing becomes stained, a 5,000 yen odor removal fee will be charged.
※About Kimono Damage and Cleaning Fees
[Stains] Normal kimono stains, such as food stains and mud, will not be charged for cleaning. However, irreparable stains (such as oil-based paint) will incur a 5,000 yen charge.
[Damage] Cigarette burns, damage to or holes in areas other than sewing, etc. Compensation of 5,000 yen will be charged for the removal of odors such as perfume (removal of odors: approximately 5,000 yen). If the item is made of genuine silk (mostly with the Platinum plan), the compensation is 10,000 yen.
[Please Note] Cigarette burns will also be charged.
[Lost] Additional compensation will be charged for damage or loss of accessories and small items. (Lost items: Autumn/Winter scarves and shawls 500 yen, haori jacket cords 500 yen, decorative cords 200 yen, zori/geta sandals 1000 yen. Please inquire separately for other small items. All compensation amounts are before tax.)
