Hualien Shabolang Half-Day River Tracing Tour: Enjoy the Clear Waters

． Please carefully read the details of the Hualien Shapolang River Trekking Activity and these regulations. Please fully understand and agree to them before registering.
． Please ensure that you are in good health and suitable for strenuous activities. Those with heart disease, fear of heights, high blood pressure, pregnancy, or other conditions that would otherwise make outdoor activities unsuitable, or those who are too young or physically unable to complete the tour independently, should not register.
． This activity includes hotel pickup and drop-off in Hualien City (mainly within the city). Please be sure to fill in the "full hotel name + address" at the meeting point when booking to facilitate arrangements. The exact pickup time on the day of the activity will be notified one day prior to departure.

． Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to departure. Latecomers, no-shows, or those who leave the group during the trip will be deemed to have forfeited their participation and will not be eligible for a refund.

This activity will be led by a certified river trekking instructor or coach from the Sports Administration with a 1:5 passenger ratio.

During this activity, please agree to abide by the following rules: Do not overtake the instructor, do not take shortcuts, do not leave others alone, do not race, and do not litter or cigarette butts.

If you withdraw from the activity due to personal reasons (such as physical condition), you will be responsible for any expenses incurred. Fees for the unfinished activity will be considered a forfeit and will not be refunded.

Safety is our top priority during this activity. Changes may occur due to weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events (typhoons, snow, heavy rain, landslides, or the physical condition of the group members). The decision of the group leader and guide will be followed and no objection will be accepted.

If the itinerary cannot be completed due to force majeure (typhoons, snow, heavy rain, landslides, etc.), the tour leader may modify the itinerary.

If there are any savings due to this, the savings will be returned equally to the participants upon return. If additional food and lodging are required due to extended time or alternative transportation, any excess expenses will be borne by the participants.

Please understand the potential dangers of river tracing activities. Accidents can result in injury or death.

You understand and agree to abide by the relevant activity regulations and are willing to follow the instructions of the tour leader and guides, always pay attention to your own safety, and not endanger the safety of others.

You are solely responsible for any accidental injury or death caused by personal negligence (including failure to proactively notify the tour leader or staff due to personal discomfort).

The instructor will assist in taking photos during the activity and provide the files for free download. Participants must agree to the free use of the photos provided by the tour team. If you have any concerns, please inform the instructor on-site to refrain from taking photos. Voluntarily providing selfies to the tour team afterward will be deemed as consent to their free use.
