"City Buses and Long-Distance Buses (Routes Not Reserved)"

1. Before boarding the bus at the boarding station (bus stop), please confirm the bus's destination and whether you can use a SUNQ Pass (labeled). Labels are located on the front and side of the bus (near the boarding gate).

2. After boarding the bus at the boarding gate (the rear door for city buses), please receive a numbered ticket. You must also receive a numbered ticket on long-distance buses with a numbered ticket machine.

3. When your next stop is your destination, please ring the bus bell to notify the driver. When getting off the bus, please wait until the bus has completely stopped before leaving your seat.
4. When getting off the bus, please show the date of use on the SUNQ ticket cover to the conductor for confirmation. Also, please place the numbered ticket you received upon boarding into the fare box.

"Long-Distance Bus (Reservation Required)"
1. (A) Passengers without a prior reservation: Please present your SUNQ ticket at the main bus center ticket counter and reserve your desired route, departure time, and alighting station. (If the bus is full, you may not be able to board.)
(B) Passengers with a prior reservation: Please present your SUNQ ticket and provide your reservation number (the number you received when you made your reservation, such as your phone number).
2. After completing the procedures, please receive a "Reservation Ticket (Seats or Fixed-Number Ticket)" (free of charge). At this time, please confirm the route, day of travel, time of travel, and seat number written on the "Reservation Ticket (Seats or Fixed-Number Ticket)." 3. Before boarding, present your SUNQ ticket and reservation ticket (seat or fixed number ticket) and hand your reservation ticket (seat or fixed number ticket) to the conductor.
4. When the announcement announces your next stop, press the bell to notify the driver. When exiting the bus, wait until the bus has completely stopped before leaving your seat.

Travel Notes

● Children under 6 years old who do not occupy a seat travel free.
● When purchasing a ticket, please bring it to a major bus center in Japan to have it date-stamped. SUNQ Passes without this stamp cannot be used.
● Advance reservations are required for some highway bus routes. Reservations can be made in person or by phone at the bus counter starting one month before the date of boarding and up to 15 minutes before departure. After booking by phone, you must collect your reservation ticket and complete the boarding procedures at the highway bus counter within the specified period. Passengers without a prior reservation may not be able to board the bus you requested.
● Kyushu Odan Bus tickets can only be reserved at the Kumamoto Highway Bus Center.
◎ Simply present your SUNQ Pass to the driver to board the bus. (For long-distance buses, individual reservations are required for routes requiring a reservation.)
◎ No fare exchange (such as change) is required, making boarding and alighting smooth.
◎ Passengers can board and alight freely for three (or four) consecutive days within the selected use date.
