Want to delve deeper into the hidden secrets of Kaohsiung's Chaishan Caves? With professional instructors leading the way, you can avoid getting lost while exploring. Equipped with world-class rappelling equipment, you'll traverse the undulating terrain of Chaishan Caves and admire rare geological wonders—stalactites, stalagmites, rock curtains, canyons, deep caves, and more.

This small-group activity, led by a professional instructor-to-trainee ratio of 1:8, will allow you to experience the thrill of wall-climbing, the aching muscles of rock climbing, and the heart-pounding thrill of rappelling. Perfect for school groups and corporate team-building activities, explore the hidden gems through collaboration and challenge!

- Attraction Introduction -
Shoushan, Kaohsiung City's "back garden," is a great destination for weekend leisure and sports. While Chaishan is often known for its abundance of monkeys, it also boasts a lesser-known feature: numerous caves.

The abundance of caves in Chaishan stems from its geology, which is composed of coral reef limestone. This type of geology is prone to water erosion, forming caves. These caves often contain stalactites, stalagmites, and other unusual formations. Furthermore, the dramatic elevation differences make it difficult to experience the thrill and beauty of the caves without specialized rappelling equipment.

[ Booking Tips ]
★ The Chaishan Caving Tour is closed during the rainy season from May to October. Please note that the tour is closed.
． The Kaohsiung Chaishan Secret Caving Tour requires a certain level of physical fitness. Children are recommended to be at least 10 years old.
． To participate in the Kaohsiung Chaishan Secret Caving Tour, you will meet at the 7-ELEVEN Chaishan branch and hike up the mountain for approximately 1-1.5 hours to the entrance of the Chaishan Secret Cave.
． After booking, please be sure to complete your participant information, including personal insurance, height, and weight, in the booking process to facilitate equipment preparation for the Kaohsiung Chaishan Secret Caving Tour.
． If you are particularly large or petite, please indicate this in the reservation notes.
[ Tour Tips ]
． All safety equipment used during the activity is certified by the UIAA International Mountaineering Federation and the EN European Standards Committee.

Instructors will assist in taking photos of the activity and make them available for download online. We reserve the right to use these photos for publication on websites, social media platforms, and in advertising. Please inform us in advance if you are not comfortable uploading these photos; otherwise, we will be deemed to have consented to their publication.

During the Kaohsiung Chaishan Secret Caving Activity, please follow the instructor's instructions. The company is not responsible for any unsafe behavior or detachment from the group.

Please inform us if you have any past or current medical history, such as dizziness, arthritis, heart disease, pregnancy, childbirth within the past year, high blood pressure, major surgery, stroke, diabetes, or any other medical conditions (for example, if you have asthma, please bring your own medication). The company will make special arrangements for your individual needs. Failure to inform us will result in any accidents. The company is not responsible for any legal consequences.

Tour Pricing

The cost includes:

- Led by a professional instructor
- Full safety equipment rental: helmet, harness, carabiner
- Headlamp, anti-abrasion gloves, static rappelling rope
- Group shared equipment: low-stretch rappelling rope
- Event photography
- Insurance

The cost does not include:

- For lunch, please bring your own light meals and drinking water.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 32 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 7-31 days before the start of the trip (including the 31st day) will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1-6 days before the start of the trip (including the 6th day) will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made on the day of the trip are not eligible for a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A 10% handling fee will be deducted for a refund. Alternatively, you can choose to reschedule your trip to a different date, in which case no refund will be charged.

Rescheduling requests due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled according to the cancellation policy above.

If participation is terminated due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
