Nantou Baculas Canyon Kayak Experience | Rapids Adventure. Exploring the Uncharted Territory

The Nantou Baculas kayaking tour covers approximately 6 kilometers and is fully self-paddled. It is recommended for those with a certain level of physical fitness or a habit of exercise. The duration is approximately 4-5 hours, including instruction.

Children are welcome to participate in the Nantou Baculas kayaking tour. The recommended age is approximately 10 years and above, and they must be assessed to be in good physical condition.

On-site registration is not accepted for the Nantou Baculas kayaking tour. Please complete the participant list as soon as possible after booking to facilitate application.

You must wear river trekking shoes and cold-weather clothing for the Nantou Baculas kayaking tour. Those who do not usually wear river trekking shoes can wear socks to prevent friction and injury. Please also provide your foot length, height, and weight in your information to ensure the equipment does not fit properly.

Water activities are subject to change, so it is recommended to allow a full day. Please refrain from participating if you have other important plans that day to avoid delays.

Please keep water, snacks, and other items in a waterproof bag. Do not bring valuables or electronic devices to avoid loss.

The activity is a group-based one. Once the instructor and group members have left the shore, latecomers will not be allowed to join the group (and no refunds will be given). We cannot be held responsible for any accidents caused by leaving the group or ignoring warnings.

Kayaking is a non-powered vehicle, and all activities are manual labor. Operating at sea can cause seasickness. We recommend taking seasickness medication (bring your own) half an hour before departure. Make sure to get enough sleep the day before the activity to ensure a quality experience.

Please cooperate with the group during the activity. Rock climbing and high diving are prohibited. Please maintain a safe distance from anglers or other boats. We cannot be held responsible for any accidents caused by leaving the group or ignoring warnings.

Kayaking is a water activity that is susceptible to weather conditions. During the actual trip, the instructor may adjust the route based on changing wind and hydrological conditions. If sea conditions deteriorate, the trip may be canceled mid-trip. Please do not participate if you cannot tolerate changes to the itinerary.

Please ensure you are in good health. Those with heart disease, high blood pressure, or pregnancy-related illnesses are not suitable for this experience and should refrain from signing up.

If you do not wish to have photos taken during the tour published online, please inform the on-site photography instructor.

At the end of the tour, please remember to remove your trash to ensure a pleasant environment for those who come after you.
