Home to thousand-year-old trees, this lush, lush forest boasts towering cypresses. This area is Taiwan's most accessible, mid-altitude, pristine cypress forest. Mingchi Forest Park inherits the design concept of Ciyuan, drawing inspiration from Huang Gongwang's "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" from the Yuan Dynasty, and incorporates the simple landscape structures of Song and Yuan Dynasty literati paintings.

For thousands of years, thick fog would blanket the Magao Sacred Tree Park after noon each day, obscuring vision until the next morning, when sunlight once again penetrated the trees, illuminating the mossy ground. The fragrance of cypress trees is a constant presence in the Magao Sacred Tree Park. For thousands of years, these cypress trees have thrived within the Magao Sacred Tree Park, enriching life with the mist and their own fragrance. Aside from the constant foraging of pheasants, Taiwan blue magpies, squirrels, and the occasional Atayal people who come to gather magao (mountain pepper), the Magao Sacred Tree Park remains untouched. All that remains is the perpetual fog, the only visible sight of the majestic trees, and the vibrant life.

Jiuliao Creek Natural Ecological Education Park
The Jiuliao Creek Trail is 1.8 kilometers long (approximately 2.2 kilometers from the park to the trail entrance). It features a typical subtropical forest, home to lush ferns and ground cover, towering broadleaf trees and laurels, and a variety of insects. Along the way, there are four suspension bridges: the Huoyun Bridge, symbolizing the Eye of the Ancestral Spirit; the cable-stayed Baga Suspension Bridge; and the Haai Suspension Bridge, which lacks archways or piers. The arched bridge at the end, Linpu Bridge, offers a breathtaking view of the majestic Geba Waterfall, a truly relaxing experience.

Travel Notes

[Tour Fees]
． Children under 3 years old will be charged insurance and round-trip parking fees to Taipei Mingchi. An additional NT$400 will be charged if they do not bring their own car seat.
． Children (3-12 years old) who do not occupy a car seat will be charged transportation (including the Shenmu shuttle bus), Shenmu lunch boxes, and other activity fees.
． Children (3-12 years old) who occupy a car seat and other activity fees will be charged NT$120 per person, reduced from the adult price.
． In addition to the original trip insurance, the Shenmu Garden tour also includes NT$2 million accident insurance, transportation, tour guide services, park entrance procedures, and cleaning fees. Please bring your ID for reference.
． On the second day of the Shenmu Garden tour, if you bring your own lunch box, an additional NT$50 cleaning fee will be charged per person (this tour includes the Shenmu Garden lunch box).
[ Booking Information ]
． Boarding for this tour will be at Taipei Main Station (08:00), Jiaoxi Main Station (08:40), or the square in front of Yilan Main Station (09:00). This package tour has the same price. Please fill in the meeting point in the participant information section of your reservation after booking to arrange pickup.
． Shenmu Park is a Class B mountain entry restriction area. Please ensure you provide a correct list of passengers after booking.

[ Accommodation Information ]
． This tour includes accommodation at Mingchi Villa. Due to limited room availability, we cannot specify the specific building type (European-style villas are the main choice). Arrangements will be subject to availability.
． Check-in at Mingchi Villa opens after 3:00 PM, and luggage can be left at the check-in counter. Meal vouchers and other tickets will be issued upon check-in based on the number of guests. Please count and keep them securely. Lost items will not be reissued.

The Shenmu Park area has a limited capacity of 720 people per day (based on the number of groups). Advance reservations are required, and availability is subject to application results and confirmation by the booking staff.

[Trip Notes]

As the Shenmu Park area is served by a circular bus, please arrive 20 minutes before departure. Failure to arrive after the scheduled time will be considered a missed departure and no refund will be given.

The Shenmu Park shuttle bus operates as a circular shuttle and is arranged for shared use. Charter services are not available.

The forest park's nature trails can be slippery, so it is recommended to wear lightweight, non-slip shoes for ease of movement.

Due to epidemic prevention measures, pets and dangerous items are not allowed on the tour. Thank you for your cooperation.

If you are unable to board the bus or are disembarked midway due to personal reasons, it will be deemed as a forfeit and no refund or additional boarding will be accepted.

The tour time is for reference only. Please be aware that the driver or guide may adjust the itinerary sequence and duration based on road conditions, events, festivals, or weather conditions.

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
