Explore the Beauty of Taiwan | 2017 Rotary International World Youth Conference | Post-Conference Travel

The Rotary International World Congress (Interota) is a triennial international exchange event for Rotary members worldwide. Originating in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1981, Interota has been held in countries such as Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, South Korea, Egypt, and Canada over the past three decades. It not only provides a platform for Rotary members worldwide to exchange and learn from each other, but is also the only international Rotary conference recognized by Rotary International.   

 

The 2017 Rotary International World Congress (Interota 2017 Taipei) will be held in Taipei, Taiwan from September 2 to 6, 2017. During the congress, 500 Rotarians and Rotarians from around the world will share experiences, exchange ideas, experience Taiwanese culture, and participate in hands-on community service. In conjunction with the 50th anniversary celebration of Rotarians Worldwide, the congress will review the development and service achievements of Rotarians around the world over the past 50 years.

 

After the successful conclusion of the conference, Tripbaa will lead a tailored post-conference itinerary for the 2017 Rotary International World Youth Conference. Five themed tours will allow participants from home and abroad to explore Taiwan's cultural beauty: a creative feast of Taiwanese puppetry, a short trip to Jiufen Mountain Town, a tribal experience and Golden Car wine tasting in Yilan, a canoe and camping trip to the Qingshui Cliffs in Hualien, and a cycling tour of Sun Moon Lake in Nantou. Through travel, precious friendships across borders will be rekindled!
