J Youai House is a three-story guesthouse located in the heart of Tainan’s West Central District, directly facing Tainan Art Museum 2. We host only one group per night, ideal for couples, friends, families, or slow travelers seeking quality and peace.

We believe staying somewhere is not just about the night—it’s about creating time to pause and truly be present.

The space is fully curated by us, with shifting light across floors, a kitchen island, reading nook, interior skylight, and a top-floor balcony. Every corner is meant to be lived in—and remembered.

Room access is flexible based on group size (in order: Gazing, Opening, Embrace). Guests 7 and 8 will be provided with extra beds.

Flexible pricing allows even 2 guests to enjoy the full-house experience.
No pets, BBQ, or karaoke—just good tea, quiet light, and your own time.

To ensure a pleasant and respectful stay for all, please read the following guidelines carefully before check-in. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to assist.

【Guest Policy】

1. Registered Guests Only: Only booked guests are allowed to enter or use the premises. No external visitors permitted.

2. No Meals Provided: We do not offer meals but are happy to share local food recommendations.

3. Eco-Friendly Stay: Bottled water and disposable amenities are not provided. Please bring your own toiletries and water bottle.

4. Housekeeping: No daily cleaning or supply replacement during multi-night stays. Cleaning or linen changes can be requested in advance with an additional fee.

5. Guest Number Limit: The number of guests must match the booking. Extra guests without notice will be charged NT$3,000 per person. Unauthorized overcapacity will result in cancellation without refund.

6. Non-Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited indoors and on balconies. Violation will incur a deep cleaning fee (equivalent to one night’s full 6-person rate).

7. No Pets Allowed: Bringing pets will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

8. Security: Surveillance cameras are in place at entrances and balconies for your safety.

【Check-in & Check-out】
9. Check-in: From 15:00. Self check-in applies after 18:00. Please keep noise levels low after 22:00.
10. Check-out: By 11:00. Late check-out will incur NT$800 per 30 minutes.
11. Check-out Procedure: Please notify us via message and return remotes/key items.

【Child Policy (Ages 6–12)】
12. Fees: Children aged 6+ are charged as adults. Please supervise young guests carefully.
13. Consent Form: Guardians must sign a consent form and take full responsibility. Guests will be held liable for any damages; space photos will be provided for reference.

【Facilities & Extra Guests】
14. Entertainment: No TV. Netflix is available via projector screen.
15. Stair Access: The house uses classic terrazzo stairs. Please walk carefully. Luggage storage is available on the 1st floor.
16. Extra Guests: Up to 8 people max. Extra beds (Japanese-style floor mattresses) available with advance notice and fee.

【Commercial Use】
17. Commercial Activity: Any filming, photography, livestreaming, product placement, or collaborations require advance written permission. Violations may be subject to full-rate charges (one-night, 6-person rate).

【Pet Violation Penalty】
18. No Pets: Pets are strictly prohibited. Unauthorized pets will result in cancellation without refund.
19. Unreported Pet Violation: Discovery of unregistered pets will result in additional charges: full 6-person nightly rate, deep cleaning, and any damage compensation.

Q: How can I tell whether my booking has been confirmed and completed?

This listing displays <Instant Booking>. Once payment is successful, the reservation is complete and no host confirmation is required.

Q: How do I make a reservation?

A:
Select your desired destination, choose dates, number of rooms, number of guests and a room plan. Complete the booking by making payment. You will receive a booking confirmation email.

Please bring identification (passport or national ID) and the credit card used for the booking when you check in, for identity verification.

All refunds resulting from cancellations or early check-out, provided they meet the refund conditions, will be processed to the original payment method you used (including: credit card, LINE PAY). Refunds are handled manually and do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. Credit card refunds typically take approximately 3–14 business days to be returned to your original card, subject to the processing time of the issuing bank. For e-wallets or other payment methods, actual refund timing follows the respective payment provider’s refund procedures.
